Liz and Adrian – wedding photography at Manor House Hotel, Gloucestershire 23 Oct 2011 No Comments

Manor House Hotel is a beautiful Cotswolds hotel. I was looking forward to photographing somewhere new and it didn’t disappoint. The bridal cottage is gorgeous, with wallpaper inspired by nature and luxurious fabrics.

Liz wore an unusual silver dress, Liz told me that it was hard choosing a dress, as instead of knowing finding one that stood out, she couldn’t choose between a few dresses! I think she made the right choice.

The bridesmaids wore elegant purple dresses from Debenhams and the bouquets had roses with different shades of purples and pinks.

The service was held outside, another hot summer’s day. The drinks reception was relaxed with a BBQ and speeches held outside. Adrian and Liz live in Stoke-On-Trent and booked us over the phone, so we didn’t get to meet beforehand. During the speeches we learned that the couple were childhood sweethearts but went their own ways when Liz moved away. On a night out last year they started texting and the romance revived.

Adrian surprised Liz with an amazing LED dancefloor from Cheltenham DJ. They performed a routine to their favourite song Feeling Good by Michael Buble and their guests cheered.

Susanna and Matt – wedding photography at Cripps Barn, Gloucestershire 01 Sep 2011 No Comments

Susanna and Matts relaxed outside wedding in Cripps Barn, a lovely venue in the Cotswolds. We’ve never photographed there before and the website doesn’t do the venue justice. The wedding breakfast is in a permanent marquee attached to the barn, with fairy lights on the ceiling. While the dancing is in the darker cosy barn and there is even a small chill out room too.

Some impressive floristry, check out the bright pink flowers and Susanna’s shoes – gorgeous.

Thanks again for the photos, they are amazing, I’m so happy with them

Jenna and James – wedding photography at St Marys Church, Cheltenham and Sudeley Castle, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire 31 Oct 2010 No Comments

Jenna and James had a fairytale wedding. Jenna got ready at Beaumont House in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, in a room called ‘Out of Africa’. The room was dark and exotic, which looked great against the bright pink of the flowers and bridesmaid’s dresses.

Martyn meet James at St Marys Church in Cheltenham, the vicar was lovely and I was able to photograph the service discreetly from the front and Martyn from the back. I’m not sure whether churches are becoming more relaxed or if we are becoming better at persuading vicars to let us photograph the service!

Despite rain the day before and after, Jenna and James had beautiful autumn light. The reception was at Sudeley Castle. With landscaped gardens and castle ruins, there were endless opportunities for their wedding photographs. We even took some more photographs at night, as the ruins were lit up.

Thank you, they are amazing, you have done an amazing job. Can’t wait to see the rest.

Ruth and Matt – wedding photography at the Hare and Hounds, Cotswolds 20 May 2010 No Comments

Ruth and Matts wedding at The Hare and Hounds, Tetbury, Gloucestershire. I think this is quite a special venue. Ruth spent 2 years planning the wedding and all her efforts paid off. There were lots of lovely details, including vintage inspired flowers. We were touched to be thanked in the speeches, it’s nice to be appreciated!
