Wes and Louise wanted an unusual wedding and choose Marwell Zoo in Hampshire. Guests stayed in Marwell Hotel and arrived at the venue by train! This is where having two photographers was a real advantage – Martyn was able to capture the guests on the train, while I photographed Louise getting ready.
They were married in the Long Room in Marwell Hall. Another twist to the wedding was when the reading was sung to Louise by the two best men and then the groom joined in! Apparently they only decided to do this on the morning of the wedding. It got a huge round of applause from the guests.
The fun continued with two bands, then Wes and Louise feeding the Lemurs. I’ve never been in a cage with Lemurs before and certainly not at a wedding! Apparently they are very gentle when being fed.
